Today’s Farmers Market Haul…

We visited the local produce stand today (Eli’s). Needed some onions and more cucumbers so Courtney could make some of her amazing cucumber salad! Oh…sooooo good! I’m starting to get addicted to fresh corn on the cob, can you tell? It’s so dang youmm AND nutritious.
We’ll snap those green beans and slice up some of the o ions to make fresh green beans. That’s gonna be some good eating y’all!
Today’s haul: Sweet watermelon, corn on the cob, cucumbers, small potatoes, sweet onions, yellow squash, and green beans! Mouth watering!!!

Today’s Farmers Market Haul…

We hit Eli’s produce stand again today. We are committed to eating healthier and improving our way of life. A big part of that is taking in fresh fruits and veggies as opposed to processed “crap” (excuse my language).
Today’s haul: Fresh tomatoes, carrots, small potatoes, yellow squash, and cucumbers! Yummy for my tummy!!!

Coach Jeff Mad Dog Madden…Strength and Conditioning coach for The Texas Longhorns from the late 90’s through the early 2000’s. Basically…he’s awesome!!!


Farm fresh tomatoes & jalapeños…and my usual lunch staple…cottage cheese (with crushed Cheezits) and key lime yogurt (with granola). #75Hard Update: Halfway Point (6-20-22)

After 37 and a half days (halfway point) on #75hard, my #mental and #physical journey is going better than expected! My #fitness and #nutritional goals are being met, and I’m doing better #mentally as well! Can’t wait to see wha the second half of the #75hard has to offer! I know without a doubt I can’t make myself attain better #mentalfocus and #loseweight…but #God can!

Day 37 Weigh In…

Exactly halfway through the 75 Hard Program, and I’m very pleased with the weight loss, but even more importantly, I’m excited about my frame of mind as it relates to a desire to stay healthy!!!

Day 29 Weigh In…

Workouts are getting easier. I can feel my clothes getting bigger…that’s kinda cool! Still loving the overall mind shift. It’s really not so much about the weight loss as it is the desire and reset to eat healthier, live wiser, and exercise more.
This week I took Courtney to Bossier City, LA for some away time at one of our favorite getaway places…Horseshoe Casino/Hotel. It’s not about the gambling…it’s about the gaining of points to get frees stays at Caesar’s properties!!!
