Trying To live Healthy: Gray Chest Hair; Anniversary; Ab Work; The Guns!

What’s up people? Day 24! New hair cut, shaved, looking nice.
Ooof! Gray hair on the chest. That’s concerning.
Day 24 and both workouts are in the book. It’s roughly 9am.
Today I got a full day of stuff! We’re doing three days worth of 26th anniversary celebration.
So I want to get everything in the morning done…or my two workouts done in the morning, so I did one around 5am and then started this one around 8am(ish).
So yeah, both workouts are done (inside workout and outside workout).
I did an inside workout for the first workout this morning… I didn’t walk outside that early because I didn’t want to get run over by car.
So I just did some ab work inside for the first workout….lower body.
Came outside for the second workout and did all strength upper body…you know…work on “the guns”.
I have half of my water intake done… it’s only 9am y’all!. I got 10 pages of my book read. It’s a great book, Tending The Fire, go check it out. It’s amazing!
quiet time with God is good…really good! Hope y’all’s is too!
It’s gonna be a good day.
I will see y’all tomorrow. God bless!

Day 22 Weigh In…

Lifestyle changes going well! Loving the mindset shift. Courtney is liking the diet changes. We’ve been talking about going away from processed foods and eating natural, grass fed beef, chicken, and pork…no better time than the present!
We’ve started testing different local rancher’s products at various farmers markets. Here in Williamson County, there are quite a few different farmers markets throughout the country and throughout the week…so we’re getting to test quite a few.
This week’s results:

Today’s Farmers Market Haul…

As I start the mind shift from unhealthy eating to healthy eating, one thing I know for a fact… all natural, locally grown vegetables and fruit. So, today, Courtney (the wifey…boss) and I ventured out to a local Produce Stand here in the area (Eli’s Produce). An awesome roadside produce stand not unlike the one my uncle used to have in the 70’s & 80’s. Yummy delicious fruits and veggies came from there…and awesomely tasty foods come from Eli’s. We’ll definitely be stopping in here more often!
Courtney and I have decided it’s time to walk away from the processed food and start sourcing our vegetables, fruits, meats, and eggs from local farmers. I grew up on a farm/ranch, and it’s time to return to the goodness that is all natural foods. All natural…the way God intended. Notice there are no fast food joints in the Bible. The disciples didn’t sit around drinking sodas. Jesus didn’t break candy bars during times of fellowship and prayer. Just everyday, all natural, organic, fresh, good food!
Today’s produce haul: yellow squash, cucumbers, green beans, small potatoes, purple onions, tomatoes and corn on the cob. #Yummy for my tummy.

Yummy yellow squash, cucumbers, green beans, small potatoes, purple onions, tomatoes and corn on the cob! Delicious! Those too lazy to plow in the right season will have no food at the harvest. – Proverbs 20:4
