Hey there, champions of health and happiness!
Let’s talk about New Year’s resolutions. You know, those lofty goals we set at the start of each year with the best of intentions, only to find ourselves falling off the wagon a few weeks in? Yeah, we’ve all been there. But here’s the thing: Every day is your chance to hit that reset button and start anew.
For those new to this blog, I want to share a bit of my journey with you all. Over the past two years, I’ve experienced the incredible highs of shedding 201 pounds. It was a journey filled with hard work, dedication, and a whole lot of self-discovery. But lately, I found myself carrying around an extra 25-30 pounds—not exactly where I wanted to be. Some of it was muscle gain, thanks to my focus on building up my “guns,” but a good chunk of it was simply reverting back to old, lazy habits that once led me to weigh 450 pounds.
But here’s the silver lining: We have the power to kick start a “healthy new year” any day of the year. So, today—March 18th—I’m declaring it my personal “new year’s resolution” day. I’m hitting the reset button and focusing on the habits, practices, and strategies that not only helped me lose weight but also brought me to a better mental state of mind.
I’ve decided to embark on another round of 75 Hard, and I’m setting my sights on completing the full one-year version, Live Hard. I know some of you are wrapping up 75 Hard, while others are in the midst of Live Hard, and many more of you are simply striving to stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Wherever you are on your health journey, I want you to know this: YOU ROCK!
The fact that you’ve made personal development a priority speaks volumes about your strength and resilience. So, let’s support each other. Share your victories, your struggles, and your aspirations. Let’s encourage and inspire one another as we all strive to be the best versions of ourselves.
Remember, every day is your new year. It’s your chance to start fresh, to recommit to your goals, and to take another step forward on your journey to health and happiness.
So here’s to us, my fellow warriors. Let’s embrace each day as an opportunity for growth, and let’s continue to lift each other up as we chase our dreams.
