In the journey of pursuing our dreams (getting healthy, starting a job, climbing the corporate ladder, pursuing our soul mate, writing a book, or whatever needs achieving in our life), there’s always a chorus of voices telling us that we’re not good enough. They warn us, doubt us, and attempt to dampen our spirits. But here’s the truth: those who claim “you can’t” are often the ones who never dared to try. Their lack of courage, passion, and determination holds them back, and deep down, they fear being surpassed by those of us who choose to succeed. In times when we start buying into their BULL CRAP, we gotta remember: “They” ain’t us! Let’s look at the importance of defying doubt, and how our determination can propel us past the naysayers.

When faced with the prospect of pursuing our dreams, courage becomes our closest ally. While the naysayers choose to play it safe, we have to find the courage to take the leap and explore uncharted territories. Passion is the driving force behind every remarkable accomplishment. It is the spark that ignites our hearts and compels us to go above and beyond. Unlike the doubters, who lack this burning desire, our passion propels us forward. It pushes us to work harder, learn more, and stay focused on our goals. By nurturing our passion, we’re setting ourselves up for a journey that leads to success. Before we start any endeavor, we need to identify the “why”. That one thing we’re most passionate about…that pushes us. Once we know that, we simply keep fanning the flames of that passion until nothing on Earth can extinguish the fire we create!

Success is seldom a straight path. It’s marked by twists, turns, and countless obstacles along the way. The naysayers, lacking determination, falter at the first sight of difficulty. However, we must harness the unwavering determination that fuels our resilience. Every setback becomes an opportunity to learn and grow (like I always preach…”failure is a beautiful thing”), making us stronger and more prepared for the challenges ahead.
