I had planned to hike 12 miles today…but…that did not come to fruition!
Unexpected adventure at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown! 🏞️ I had planned to conquer a challenging 12-mile hike, but fate had a different plan for me. An unforeseen turn, lead to a rescue mission that I’ll remember forever.
🚶♂️ Lace-up your hiking boots and hit that play button and let me explain what happened on this epic outdoor escapade! I set out to conquer the San Gabriel Park trails. However, destiny had a different adventure in store for me.
🐶 Just when I thought my day would revolve around hiking, I stumbled upon a scene that changed everything. A distressed dog and his owner were in dire need of help in the river, and without a second thought, I sprung into action. It was a rescue that united a grateful pup with its emotional owner, making this hike one for the books.
🌟 But that’s not all! As with any adventure, there were challenges. Yesterday’s blistered heels tried to halt my plans, but I didn’t let that dampen my spirits. Little did I know that my decision to cut the hike short would lead me to embarking on a water rescue!
